About the Project

Narrative Battle Reports centered around one character, commander McBragg. Using the rules for Fistful of Lead and Pulp Alley I hope to see which one gives me the most narrative play through that I love out of a table top game. I will sometimes be playing out the same Scenario with both rules to make it a bit more scientific.

Welcome hobbyist,

Commander McBragg was a character based on the stories from “The Four Feathers,” and stories from The Interwar period. He reminds me of Colonel Blimp from the film “The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp” If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. The show followed a retired British military commander, McBragg, who would tell stories to his gentleman’s club members against their will. These stories would only last a minute and a half. Always ending in an absolutely impossible way.

That is what I plan to do with this project. Narrative Battle Reports centered around one character. Globetrotting around the world, Young commander McBragg will go from the North Pole to Darkest Africa to who knows?!

You can find episodes on YouTube now a days. They can be trite, cliched and a bit racist sometimes, but mostly fun.

I hope you will follow the commanders journeys with me.

Cheers
