About the Project
So I am really enjoying painting up smaller projects at the moment and it turns out I have a bunch of Warhammer Underworlds warbands. This is them as I complete them. I do have some old ones completed so I will show them here too.

This was quick
I can’t believe how quickly these came together, start to finish in about 2 hours and I can’t say I was even thinking about it, just picked colours that came to as I went and jumped between each mini as it dried for the next step.
Happy with the result, Warband done.
aghh they wont stop coming...
Whilst sort things out for the project I came across another two Warbands I didn’t even know I owned.
Oh well, more options.
Idea that needs work..
One I forgot, a while a go I tried using the fluorescent paints to make this warband… I think it could work and something in my wants to do an entire army like this.
I painted small parts of the mini with the idea that bits are coming from the ghostly beyond to the real world… again I think this could be cool.
Crimson Court come for dinner
Painted this up all on stream as much of this project will be, would love for anyone to join for some support @ https://www.twitch.tv/thehobbylodge
The armour on all of these guys was done by painting Blood Angels Red contrast over a leadbelcher silver, this works really well I think if you wanting to do coloured metals.
Everything else is the usual system now, contrast over a zenithal prime and then highlights with layer paints or technical paints where needed. Keeping to about an hour a mini so it is very achievable.
What is on the table...
So these were already built and primed (some need a refresh) but I think they are good enough to start. Over my time of trying to improve my building and preparing, I can see now things like gaps, mould lines, also where the primer may have gone on a bit thick. But I am going to run with it and do my best with what I have.
A look back...
So these are the original warbands from quite some time ago now, was good to get this out and dust them off. Rough for sure but I think my painting has moved on since doing these.
I could wipe them and restart but I think it nice to have them original and focus on the new warbands.
