About the Project

Now that I have nearly finished my first band of adventurers they now need somewhere to adventure in. I've dug out a load of old terrain I had accumulated and now need to turn it into the Frozen City.

The bridgeThe bridge

This bridge is at least 12 years old but probably older. I think it came from a Warhammer campaign pack that had something to do with vampires. I have fond memories of a group of Space Marine scouts holding it against Khorne Berzerkers back in the day. It was cardboard but I covered it in a mix of sand, plaster and pva that made it solid then sprayed it with gloss varnish after painting. It now needs a new home in Frostgrave.

Finished

With a lot of drybrushing of greys and whites and a fair bit of Valhallan Blizzard I think it looks fine for my requirements.

A larger ruin

I thought I would open this project back up as I have started work on terrain for Frostgrave again. The above was purchased from Amera Plastics. I think another 2 and what I have already painted will make and interesting table.

I thought I would try a final touch using some Liquid Frost. It has taken 4 applications but I think I now like the effect.

What did I find?

Now that I have nearly finished my first warband I think it is time to start building a little part of Felstad. A search in the loft discovered some old LOTR walls and an old bridge I made years ago. Time to snowify them.
