About the Project
During the spring I am going to be painting venomthropes to add to my Tyranid collection. I will be updating as often as possible

Washes
I have now applied a wash to the models and i think they look great
These are the washes I used. I used druchii violet on the purple, fuegan orange on the yellow, seraphim sepia on the bone and reikland fleshshade on the flesh.Day 2
I have painted on the base colours but it is a rough job and there is lots of clean up that needs to be done. I decided to do the spore sacks and mouth tentacles in Cadian Fleashtone. We still have a lot of work left
How they are currently lookingPrimed
I primed my models with grey and then white from the top so now I am ready to paintDay 1
Now that the venomthropes are built we can begin painting. The models came out smaller than expected but I really like how they came out.
The paints I will be using
These are the base colours that I use with all my Tyranids. They are Naggaroth Night, Averland Sunset and Ushabti Bone
This is Highlight that i put on the shells of all my tyranids it is called Flash Gitz Yellow
The washes that I use are Druchi Violet and Sephim SepiaMost of my paints are from CITADEL and they are what I will be using mainly
