The Start
After much teasing of the pendraken miniatures on the site I could no longer resist and have bought my first two army’s. I have gone for the Goblin army and have picked up the Anglo-Saxon war band to turn in to my human faction. Also I have got the Warband, Dragon Rampant, Dux Bellorum, oathmark battles of the lost age and the Warmaster Rule books to go through and work out base sizes and how I will be playing the games.
Starting on the orc Archers.
Progress on the orcs archers
Warriors
Quickshade strongtone
Waiting on the bases
Anti shined and waiting for the bases to arrive and now for the multi Lloyd shot.
Base's have arrived
So have gone for a 80 x 40 mm base to cover the Warband rule set and then have used Multi-pole self adhesive magnetic sheet to join 40 x 20 mm bases so I have the option to use in Warmaster and other games have gone for three set ups Command, Warrior and cavalry.
Bit of a break
Work and life once again getting in the way of the hobby. So had a little break for painting and then a Golden Button Thank you all for the comments and the votes. So not much progress for a while all work below.
Making some wound/morale markers for the units. To use in these and other games.
Commanders
Hair and cloth coloured and then followed with legs, poles and first coat on shields.
Archers and Huscarls
Archers Above all done with contrast paints after heavy dry brush with grey then white. ready for quickshade
Saxons
Starting basing up will be giving a anti shine when glue is dry then some flocking missing two of my Great fyrd just to find them in the rug!
