About the Project
HeroQuest is a much loved game in the family and we play it often, I have for quite some time now tossed with the idea of painting it and given the spring clean challenge and the lockdown now seems like the right time.

Chaos Warriors
So I made a few tweaks here and there on the existing Black design but mostly this was a bit of bone and gold here and there so they stood out a bit. I also painted one up in red for a bit of a different look.
Not sure what I prefer but maybe someone will chuck a comment in for Black or Red.
Skeleton Horde
Ok again following the test model I went through the rest of the skeletons, I decided to change the weapons from the bright silver to the rusty blades.
Kept it simple and used
Typhus Corrosion – Allover
Ryza Rust – Dry Brushed
Necron Compound -Dry Brushed
Yummy Mummies
So following the test model the rest were done in no time, I added a little Nurgle rot here and there but tiny amounts
