About the Project

So with all the stress and anxiety about covid-19. I am going to be posting a little more often to help with the self isolation and perhaps get some people to be active with a hobby or an interest of there own. I have a gift from the girls for my birthday and It is a Warhammer miniature. I will break it down, step by step, for any new painters that may want to hobby during this time. Or to offer inspiration. First, I decided on a paint scheme. I wanted to add a little bit of something extra so I green puttied a Slaanesh symbol to represent a mutation. Then followed up with a Zenithal prime of black and white. I then airbrushed with Pro acryl paints.Purple for the skin.Jade for the mutation and face. After the airbrushing I broke out the brushes. I mixed 50/50 light umber and orange for the horns. Then mixed 50/50 dark umber and burnt red for the fur. For the armor I mixed golden yellow/ivory/white gold in equal parts.Coal black was used for the remaining fur. These are all the base colors set and I am ready to start inking. This is part 1 done.I hope to show more parts as they are finished leading to the end product with a scenic base. Lastly, I would like everyone to stay safe and healthy.
