About the Project

The latest kickstarted from Burrows and Badgers really grabbed my attention. While I have lots of the smaller minis I've never gone for rhe massive ones so I had to back. Because I've been playing with some content creation lately I thought I'd share with you guys.

I’ve painted this Fox Bounty Hunter to use in my Burrows and Badgers warband, he’s got such a dynamic pose and I’m really pleased with how he’s turned out! I went with a darker scheme, very highway man like.

Paints I used…
Base Boat – Wraithbone Spray
Fur – Jokero Orange/Reikland Fleshshade (White areas left Wraithbone with a shade of Nuln Oil)

Jacket/Hat/Boots – Contrast Black Templar (Contrast Blood angel red for the trim on the jacket)
Pistols – Contrast Wyldwood/Leadbelcher/Nuln Oil
Base – Rhinox Hide/Corvus Black

The Undead Mouse

I’ve painted up the Undead Mouse to use in my Burrows and Badgers warband, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with him at first, should I go down the undead route or do something different.  I decided to do something different…

I wanted him to look more ghostly, just with a little metal being brought into the physical realm and allowing him to damage to any unsuspecting travellers. He was super easy to paint and looks amazing there’s so many ways you can paint a ghost but I found this the easiest (and really quick).

Paints I used:

Base Coat: Wraithbone
Body: Nihilakh Oxide
Metal: Leadbelcher/Nuln oil
Base: Rhinox Hide/Mornefang Brown/Corvus Black

Painting 'Antonio' the Cat Duellist

So with the Cat Deullist I wanted to go in the direction of Puss in Boots from Shrek, however, he only really wears his boots and Hat! So why not head in the direction of Antonio Banderas in Zorro! The problem there is he wears all black and I wanted a little colour, so I had to compromise somewhere…

Paints:

Base Boat – Wraithbone Spray
Fur – Jokaero Orange/Troll Slayer Orange/Agrax Earthshade
Mouth and Eyes – Skeleton Horde
Jacket/Feathers – Contrast Blood Angels Red
Shirt – Left as Wrathbone Undercoat (Screamer Pink Tastle)
Boots/Hat/Cloak – Corvus Black/Administratum Grey Highlights (Mephiston Red around edges of boots)
Claws – Zandri Dust
Sword – Leadbelcher/Retributor Armour
Cloth – Xereus Purple
Pouch – Mornefang Brown
Shade (on Black areas and sword) – Nuln Oil
Base – Rhinox Hide/Mornefang Brown

I really enjoyed painting this guy, the contrast paints make painting so much easier. It helps with getting that accomplished feeling which pushes me further!
