About the Project
This is my Ironjawz army. I got a Christmas Battleforce about three years ago with a voucher birhtday present, and only started painting it in October of 2019 as my ORKTOBER challenege and it was only completed at the end of January or start of February. For now it is on hold til I get a few more purchases and pump the army to 2,000 points. I do not want to keep pushing and grinding and burnout so I will return to this project in a few months. Entry 4: Goregrunta #1 23/03/20
This is one of the three Goregruntas in my army, for now. They were rewarding o complete but they were started toward the end of Novmber 2019 and took til about mid Januaru this year to complete. This was mainly due to how big they are and all the different surface areas and textures adjacent to one another. While I like the kit and it was great finishing them it was a struggle. Here they are complete on modeled bases with ruins, metallic soil, ferrous plains rock and golden streams of gold.
Entry 3: Ardboyz 21/03/20
These guys were a pain in the butt. I am more than proud of them, but man. They are detail packed! They have skin, beside straps, and armour plates, and its all crammed in. I am not looking forward to doing more, but I will be getting a Start Collecting set which will have more for when I want to expand the army.
Entry 2: Warchanter 21/03/20
The Warchanter is a Priest for the Ironjawz faction. It is one of the more recent models I have finished painting. When planning my list I went on an Orruk facebook page for advice and was told I want at least two in the army. At some point down the line then I will be getting a START COLLECTING IRONJAWZ set.
Entry 1: Megaboss 02/03/20
This is the first model I finished for the army, which was either the end of October 2019 or the start of November. The army is from Shyish, the Realm of Death (hence the darker colours and paler skin than usual) but is currently in the realm of Metal (hence the bases). Specifically, this warband are the Asheater Boyz.
The model is slightly converted wielding the fleeing farmer from the Giant/Gargant kit as an impromptu weapon, snack or trophy.
