Today’s virtual gaming: Oak & Iron.

Nice little mod with all the contents of the starter set, we’ll definitely be playing more of this one until our physical copies show up (they’re currently on a ship from China).

Other games that are looking good are BlitzBowl,  A Song of Ice and Fire,  X-Wing and a few others. Will probably try some of them next week.

More SW:Legion on TTS today.

Another game of SW:Legions on Tabletop Simulator. We went up to a full sized game of droids vs clones. Good fun.

Gaming in Lockdown

Tried out SW:Legion on Tabletop Simulator this afternoon. It was pretty good. Took very little time to figure out the controls. We just played the getting started preset game which is only the starter set armies but it was still good fun. Planning a full 800 point game tomorrow.

Seems like this will be a very useful resource to get some gaming for however long lockdown lasts since my gaming buddy lives an hour’s drive away and I don’t think gaming counts as essential travel!

Been working away on some Indian reinforcements for my Desert Rats. And got a Guildball mini finished for my mate.

So it’s been a bit of a crazy week(I work in food retail). And unfortunately no gaming today for obvious reasons. So I got some Harlequin characters finished off.

And here’s a couple of jetbikes I finished last week and forgot to post on here.

My “nickstarter” for the 2nd edition of Muskets&Tomahawks has arrived. Looks really good. Can’t wait to give it a go and see how it feels with the changes. The strech goal minis are quite nice too.

Carnevale today. My Rashaar against the Strigoi. Vampires are so hard to kill. I nearly killed Dracula twice and he kept healing back up. And so many fumbles.

7-4 loss, but good fun.

Managed to get a second day of gaming this week.

1000pt game of Bolt Action. 1941, Western Desert. A DAK Armoured Reconnaissance Platoon attacks the British lines.

Then a game of AD1666. The French and Polish race to find and recruit a local thief. The French manage this but take too many losses before the alarm is raised.

A game of Judge Dredd  today. And then Anno Domini 1666. It seems really good.

Another kickstarter arrives ?

Started painting up my Ratcatchers Guild for Guild Ball.

Then, just when you think you’re making some progress, another 50+ minis get delivered!

Knights Templar 15mm Saga army completed?

Got the last unit of knights done yesterday. Warlord’s banner and based them all today.

Over to Edinburgh for some gaming today.

My Ratcatchers lost 8-12 against the Masons Guild.

Then a game of Warhammer Underworlds. My Ghouls defeated a mighty ogre hunter. Actually, they ignored him, and beat up his gnoblar entourage ?

Then some SW:Destiny to finish off.

Guildball match postponed by Storm Ciara.

Time to tidy my desk I think.

Still needs a bit of a clearout, but at least I’ve got room to work again?

Game of Saga: Age of Crusades today. My Milites Christi against @eion755 ‘s Moors. It started off badly, but after swapping my dice in turn 3, i managed to stage a comeback and eventually win.

We were really happy with how it looked in 15mm. Definitely made it feel more epic. Well done @avernos for the idea.

Then a few games of Star Wars: Destiny.
