About the Project

One of my 2020 resolutions is to clear my pile of shame. Unless the models are for an existing project, I will document my work on them here.

This is Erzebel from Raging Heroes (https://www.ragingheroes.com/products/erzebel-s-fsf). I picked the model up back in May as birthday present to myself and have finally got around to painting her.

I started with a greyseer undercoat with a zenithal wraithbone highlight.

The wings and armour were painted apothecary white then drybrushed praxeti white.

The stone base was painted basilicanum grey then drybrushed longbeard grey.

The hair was painted iyanden yellow.

The edges of the robes and other pink areas were painted volupus pink and then highlighted pink horror followed by emperor’s children.

The skin was painted rakarth flesh, washed reikland fleshshade then highlighted flayed one flesh followed by pallid wych flesh.

The sword blade was painted leadbelcher, washed nuln oil then highlighted runefang steel.

The gold was painted retributor armour, washed seraphim sepia then highlighted auric armour gold.

That's a wrap...

So with less than two hours to go before the end of 2020 I’ve painted every model that I set out to paint back in January, more or less.

You may notice I had Arena: The Contest miniatures that I had planned to paint. However after playing the game a few times I decided it wasn’t for me so I sold everything on. In their place I did join the Path of Conquest event so have painted about 1500 of Dweghom instead. Plus there have been several other miniatures I bought this year that I also painted up, such as the two cyber fairies and Erzebel that I painted most recently.

Overall I’m counting this project as completed to my satisfaction.
