About the Project

I’ve been sitting in these miniatures for a few years now. I really love the look and decided it’s time to get them painted. So here I go!

Here is the beginnings of my Easterlings force. I did a zethinal prime job. White over black. At a 45 degree angle. This helps with highlighting.  The next step is the metal for the armor. The base coat for this is the old GW Dwarf Bronze. Then I did the red. Which is a 60/40 mix of Vallejo Gory Red/GW Screamer Pink. Then for the boots, pants, and sleeves I used Vallejo German Grey. I made sure to go over the models with each color to cover any mess ups. Next is a wash with Army Painter Strong Tone. After this dried. I highlighted the armor with Vallejo Brass from the flames of War paint line. The swords were dabbed withGW Iron Breaker. The base was Martian Ironearth. Added some scrubs on a few bases. Bam! There ya go. I made it through 12 out of 20 models in this painting session. I have two boxes of Catapract Cavalry and another 20 man box of infantry to do. I also have the Lord of Blades and the Easterling Nazgul for Characters. Mounted and on foot. Pleas feel free to comment. Thanks and I hope someone was inspired to paint from this. Happy Gaming my friends
