About the Project

Since my Fallout: Wasteland Warfare project itself is getting rather big, I've decided to split it up in the different factions I collect, paint and possibly play. This project includes everything from the creatures of the wasteland.

This is my Deathclaw for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare by Modiphius. In case people are wondering, it is the resin version.

DEATHCLAW!!!!!
I primed the Deathclaw and then applied a basecoat of Vallejo Game Color Bonewhite (72.034) over the mini. I then in selected places airbrushed a coat of The Army Painter Warpaints Venom Wyrm (WP1461).

I started covering most of the body that needs to be dark with a drybrush of Vallejo Model Color Black Grey (70.862). I added a coat of Vallejo Game Color Sepia Shade (73.200) over most of the horns and claws.

I coated the inside of the mouth with Vallejo Model Color Scarlet (70.817) and then covered it with a coat of Citadel Shade Carroburg Crimson (99189953016).

I covered the whole model in a coat of a rough 50/50 mix of Citadel Shade Reikland Fleshshade (99189953027) & Vallejo Glaze Medium (70.596).

I gave the eyes a coat of Vallejo Game Color Moon Yellow (72.005) and then covered them with a coat of Citadel Shade Casandora Yellow (99189953021). After the gloss coat I gave the eyes a bit of a surrounding tint with some watered down Scale 75 Scalecolor Inktense Black (SC-79).

After the matt coat has dried I applied a satin varnish of the blackened area and once this is dry the Deathclaw is finished.

In my earlier Fallout: Wasteland Warfare project I have made a lot of progress on the creatures of the wasteland, here are some pictures and a link to the project.
