Revisiting some old games and bringing them back to life and seeing if they are as good as I remember. This includes a bit of painting and modeling as well was forcing folk to play them.

Interesting painting such old plastics that have some very indistinct details such as boots molding into robes on the wizards.

Who ever owned the game before me never glued any of the shields on the minis apart from one. The dwarf is rather upset the human warrior has been given his shield.

For many folk Heroquest is the nostalgia game but I always preferred the Advanced version. I liked the random dungeon generation and it began my love for skaven. I haven’t owned a copy for 25 years and I managed to get a reasonably priced copy off ebay. The copy was in good condition with all the pieces intact and unpainted minis.
The box had some old character sheets from some past adventure still in the box. Nice to see someone got into the game before me.
