40K Digital Weekend – Laughingboy & Son

So James has decided to go Tau and I made a last-minute change away from Death Watch to Demons…

My last moment swing was because of a single mini I painted last week.

I did this contrast paint and completed it in a very short period of time, once it was done I looked at it and thought oooo this should be an army.

So I needed to grab everything I had going spare to build this army

And it looks like this….

So I have been getting cameras sorted, sound etc for the live streams. Our current plan is to live stream the entire time we are hobbing so this is likely to be 12 hours each day, maybe longer.

The main screen will be 2 face cameras and 2 close painting cameras

I have also now got cameras in a tabletop view, dice tray and presenter

Could I use this….

As a proxy for this…

James has two ways to start tomorrow first the start collecting box we ordered or if he what’s to try it some painting I have this kill team ready to go.

Streaming all day and about six hours later I have finished the build on the Slaanesh getting started box and James is well on his way to completing his Tau kill team.

James got his Tau kill team done which is great work for one day. Pretty much all contrast.

I am very happy with what I got done, build of the Slaanesh getting start…. My gosh that chariot is a bitch!

Also started painting some khorne.

With very little effort and just using contrast I think you can get some great tabletop results.

James finished the start collecting build and so earned himself a spot prize. Wooo hoo

James smashed it out of the park today, he has never built a model yet in the 11 hour stream today he acheived this lot!

I managed to get 3 bloodcrushers completed and a bunch of bloodletters.

Got started on the cannon which I will complete in the morning meaning I will have completed the start collecting box.
