Wolf Lord Warzan and his Spring Clean

Well the deadline is tomorrow and I still have things to do!!! Ohh no!

Best stop complaining about it, and get on with it!

I have 2 more tanks waiting on decals along with the final Grey Hunter pack. The gloss varnish needs to dry before I can apply them.

The final pack to do are the 14 Blood Claws….

The final day is here and this is the latest set off the varnishing table;

I’m working on the final 14 man Blood Claw unit, they will be finished today, just might not get the pictures up until tomorrow !

A few touch ups to do and thats it!

Thats the complete army cleaned up a bit and uniformed so to speak!

The last thing, (im not counting for completion) is the 3 odd thunder wolf models. I’m having to build up a body for one, they can act as a wolf lord or battle leader on mounts and a iron priest on a wolf. Some nice and fast characters!

Today is the day for delivery! I’m packing up the models as we speak so that I can travel north to OTT and drop them off!

I did get the last 3 Thunderwolves completed and thats it! They were the last little odd unit that needed doing!

Time to address the goals I set out in the beginning of the project.

Goal 1 – Complete uniform army

I think this has been achieved well enough, all the units are tied in with the similar paint jobs, the same company markings, squad markings, and bases. Happy to say this goal is met!

Goal 2 – As best tabletop quality as I can

Again met, some of the models were in better state than others, the terminators were very easy to tidy up and a couple of the normal marines were maybe a little thick on paint in some areas, but I dont think its that noticeable and they certainly turned out what I would call table top standard!

Goal 3 – Army list written

Done, 3394 points! quite the force 🙂

Goal 4  – A plan for one or two future addons

For this I feel the force maybe needs a little more heavy fire power, anti tank weapons, so perhaps a Predator or Long Fang unit would help here.

There is also the possibility to add another unit of Thunderwolf Cavalry, this would mean that you could add the battle leader on a wolf to that unit as their pack leader, and the 4 man cavalry squad would be a big scary target for lots of opposing fire.

And as of this post that is my first project that will be able to marked as complete!
