About the Project

I made a painting guide to paint a CAPODECINA from the new 2 player Carnevale box. This to give people ideas because there are not a lot of tutorials or guides for painting Carnevale miniatures. I will try to do this for all miniatures in the box.

Priming:

Step 1: Prime the figure in black color I use the black prime from valejo

 

color blocking:

Step 2: basecoat the clothing with zandri dust from citadel paints

Step 3: basecoat the cape and cape parts with khorne red from citadel paints

Step 4: basecoat the boots and belt with rhinoxhide from citadel paints

Step 5: basecoat the wapons and silver details with shining silver army painter

Step 6: basecoat the golden details with retributor armour from citadel paints

Step 7: basecoat the handle of the rapier with wapon bronze from army painter

Step 8: basecoat the skin with tanned flesh from army painter

Step 9: basecoat the hair with monster brown from army painter

Step 10: basecoat the sleeves with rakarth flesh from citadel paints

 

Shade:

Step 11: shade the clothing, boots, golden details, sleeves and belt with agrax earth shade from citadel paints

Step 12: shade the cape and cape parts with red tone from army painter

Step 13: shade the weapons, silver details, handle of the rapier and the hair with nuln oil from citadel paints

Step 14: shade the skin with flesh wash from army painter

 

Clean-up:

Step 15: clean up the clothing with zandri dust from army painter

Step 16: clean up the cape and the cape parts with khorne red citadel paints

Step 17: clean up the boots and belt with rhinox hide from citadel paints

 

Highlight:

Step 18: big highlight on the golden details with greedy gold from army painter

Step 19: highight on the sharp golden details with auric armour gold from citadel paints

Step 20: highlight on the clothing  with usabti bone from citadel paints

Step 21: highlight on the boots and belt with rhinox hide from citadel paints

Step 22: highlight on the skin with tanned flesh from army painter

Step 23: highlight on the skin with cadian flesh tone from citadel paints

Step 24: highlight on the cape and the cape parts with mephiston red from citadel paints

Step 25: highlight on the weapons and the silver parts with stormhost silver from citadel paints

Step 26: highlight on the sleeves with rakarth flesh from citadel paints
