One Warband complete... another starts!
With the edition of a 1987 Soldier, the Carroburg Warband has reached its starting form with the addition of its second Champion…
Along with this, the ‘Heroes of the Known World’ Moon Duke is now painted up as the Captain of the next warband, one formed from troops of the Deathjacks regiment…
Carroburg Warband Nears Completion!
Three more done – the 2nd Youngblood, another Swordsman and another Crossbowman…
Which means not much left to do…
Next batch...
Spent the afternoon sorting through suitable Human and Chaos types… still need to go through the Norse and Greenskins!
Anyway these two lots will get based up ready for painting next year… Still lots left in the boxes too!
Carroburg Champion!
The first champion added to the Carroburg Warband for Oldenheim… An Imperial Pistolier released in August 1987 and sculpted by Aly Morrison.
Slowly getting there, the Captain, the first Champion and Youngblood are done, plus one of the Swordsmen and two of the Marksmen!
Jest kidding sire...
Oldenheim also needs some ‘Hired Swords’ that suit the theme…
This one may not be that much use!
Corbit Shortstuff, Gnome Jester – Dwarf King’s Court 1982 by Alan & Michael Perry.
Goblin Raiding Party
Another warband almost finished is Mama Zog and her Goblin Raiding Party.
One of the first Citadel boxsets I bought in 1984 was the Goblin Raiding Party so wanted one to raid Oldenheim…
The warbands so far...
Not too much done yet, but some of the warbands are underway!
