Skelly and Norman...
A C16 Skeleton from 1984 and another Norman from the 1987 F4 Feudal range – this time ‘Philippe’.
Pan Tangian Officer
In 1986, Citadel launched a series of miniatures based on the Micheal Moorcock books around the Eternal Champions.
The nemesis of Elric of Melnibone were the Pan Tangians, and this from range EC05 was the Pan Tangian Officer…
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly...
First is the good ‘Young Fighter’ from the 1985 BC1 Adventurers box set.
In Warhammer Fantasy they don’t come much more bad than the original ‘Lord Krell’.
This is his first incarnatiom from 1984 in the C17 Series of Skeletons. He would rise to prominence in 1986 as the named Lord Krell in the Terror of the Lichemaster campaign pack.
Finally the ugly ‘Gotalot’ from the 1985 C48 Gargoyle series! Want more of them… fancy a unit of stone gargoyles to cause panic and mayhem in Oldenheim.
The Red Witch/Warlock...
A rather non-gender specific GW Wizard…
Household of three...
Three more joins the Bretonnian ranks…
First up is an F4 Norman from 1985 called ‘Odo’…
Next is ‘Sir Errol de Swash’ one of the Paladins released in 1985…
Finally a C01 Fighter from the very first slotta base fighter release in 1984…
This gives the Bretonnians a few more to field…
Baron de Valence...
Another of the C series Feudals, this time with a replacement sword due to the original being long gone…
Another dirty noble...
Not all Bretonnian knights are flush with cash, this one is wearing his Dad’s old armour…
However he can also do service volunteering for Stirland, where he is seen as “that wealthy posh fella with da funny accent”…
Sir John Tyrweld
Perhaps my favourite ever figure sculpted by the Perry Twins for Citadel.
1984 Sir John Tyrweld, leader of the Knights of Origo, one of the original Regiment of Renown.
Grimwald
1984 C04 series Thief – Grimwald from The Terror of the Lichemaster campaign pack.
Grimwald...
Another 1984 C04 Series Thief… this time the sculpt that became known as ‘Grimwald’ after featuring in the Terror of the Lichemaster campaign pack.
The Cabal of Change
Beneath the streets of Oldenheim many dark souls stir…
Orcs...
A variety of Orcs with the original Harboth and two other Perry sculpts from 1984, then a Chronicle Hobgoblin from 1985 and finally the Marauder MM20 Orc Champion released in 1989.
Dieter...
Wanted something different to do so painted up a rescue job.
This beaten up F9 Feudal Men-at-Arms was missing his slotta tab, needed paint stripping and had to have some cutting a reshaping done to remove the mess made when the shield stud had been removed.
But since his release in July 1986, ‘Dieter’ and many of the Feudal range, are now available from Wargames Foundry.
Dwarf Outrider
Using ME15 Mounted Gimli released in 1985, now in use as the escort rider for my Dwarf Supply Train…
