Not more Skeletons!
Two more old Citadel Skeletons, one a 1990 Marauder MM50/4 with a nice fur coat, and a July 1987 C17 Skeleton hero…
10th for 2024...
So the tenth figure painted this year is a C27 Chaos Goblin Mutant from 1984 called ‘Gagoblin’ or ‘Wingback’ at times.
More Skeletons... can never have enough.
Lord Krell demanded more C17 Skeletons, this time from 1987…
Brings Krell’s unit up to a nice 25 lads now…
Aaaar... Fantasy pirates!
Among the C04 Thieves range were a small number of pirate types released in October 1984. Designated as ‘Rogues’ these had a very piratical look. So almost 40 years old this fella!
I have a few of these so started to do up a small pirate warband… First to be done is the huge First Mate, a classic Citadel figure, who was later remodelled into a Chaos Thug (that O painted a few years ago).

Not much going on this year for Oldhammer but the occasional model, and here is the Ogre Champion from the 1985 BC2 Monster Starter Set…
Year off... but still... Citadel War of the Roses
Not really doing much on this project in 2023, needed a bit of time off from it but have completed one of the old Citadel C26 Men-at-Arms with pole arm. This range was allegedly the best selling of all the ranges in the mid-80s and its still available with Foundry at present.
The range has tons of variants for each pose and it’s a great War of the Roses or late Medieval range. It was handy for any generic human force in fantasy as well as being popular with historical gamers…
41 years old...
Very old fella this one, and seems the mould on the left hand always failed, but as he is Fantasy Tribe Fighter FTF54 ‘Adventurer in Leather Armour’ from 1982, that then moved into the C01 Fighters range in 1983 from Citadel… we will let him off the poorly moulded hand!
Hobgoblin hero...
Coming up first for 2023 will be a few models from the BC2 Monster Starter Set released in 1985.
First up… the Manic Hobgoblin Hero!
