About the Project

So 10+ years ago I was into Warhammer 40.000 and big into Orks. Since they didn't have tanks I liked, I decided to scratchbuild my own. This is one of two I started. Let's see where it takes me.

Fast forward to 10/2018 and this is where we are.

And the first thing I did (apart from dusting it off a bit) is glueing plasticcard to the side for upcoming armour parts and make an ork idol. That took way too long but I wanted that thing and I wanted done now.

Next up: more bits! Stay tuned!

So I started building the thig up with plasticcard and bits from a Russian tabletop walker. (Can’t remember the name but they made cool kits that could be scavenged for parts)

I wanted a tank with a big crew compartement to carry a full squad of boys. So I looked for a tank design with a lot of space to build upon. So I picked up a SU 100 and dit some CAD sketching.

After the base model was  build I made a paper mockup to see how it looked. Was cool but paper was way to weak.
