About the Project

I am exploring idea of painting the Light Effect as Horror movie that the light shine up from below and the glowing eyes. Moreover, I will use some Weathering Technique such as Rust, Oxide, and Dust. Lore Sepulchral Guard are a Underworlds warbands whose members are Deathrattle, led by the Sepulchral Warden. They are unlike those raised by minor necromancers, as Nagash's curse trapped their souls inside their forms, retaining fragments memories of their past lives as their flesh rotted away. They petition Nagash for forgiveness in hopes of being freed from their existence in eternal agony.

I pinned the miniatures with the Corks in order to easy to hold. I sprayed the Thailand Local Prime Spray ‘Layland’ Flat Black, Grey, and Flat White for Zenithal priming. They are cheap and easy to find in Thailand. My home have no space for Airbrush.

Flat Black F-1 – All Over Model

Primer Surfacer Grey A-42 – 45 Degree around from Above

Flat White F-15 – One Small Sprash from Above

Recommendation to wear the rubber gloves both hand and the mask. I forgot to bring the gloves, but I wear the mask.

The chemical cause the cancer. This is the warning from the Doctor. Seriously!!!

I think about the harmony of the team as wearing red and the red eyes OSL. The problem is ‘If I do the red Cloak, the eyes OSL is might not be visible.’.

So, I decided to do black and transition to red for the cloak.  The more consideration for the OSL of the eyes is the red light will be reflect to the arms.

Moreover, I would like to make it more dramatic. Then, I will do the green up-light effect to the Scythe.

Regarding to Free hand, I decided not to do it. Because I have ton of Miniature to paint and I am lazy. If my painting ratio still less than my greed of new Miniatures, I never finish them.  I plan to buy the airbrush that many people told me that It will make the paint faster and more easier. I would like to try, but no space right now.

Background for Photo

Normally, I use my Note 8 with Lightroom App and Leather Bag as background. I set the light same as I paint to make it the same light source as I see.

Last few days, I faced the problem that someone in my house got the leather bag which is the background I always use. So, I had to use the white A4 paper instead. The picture turn very bad for me.

I hate to take the photo in White Background. It is difficult to control the white balance. The light is reflect everywhere and the shadow is very clear.

Anyone get the the good tips. Please PM me.

Just finished the Petitioner. They is no name for it and no clear characteristic as the others ‘Half Head/ Rise from below’. So, I decided to used the name ‘Sword & Shield’ which is from the Monster Hunter Game Weapon Type. To create the name to the Miniatures is building the engagement feeling to them to inspire to paint for me. The color the technique is the same.

I want to make some difference from the petitioner as he used to the prince. Then, I decide to free hand. So, I explore the idea of cross which as some skull in it from internet and then freehand on the shield. Hope you like it. Please feel free to comment. It is my 2nd time of freehand. I need more practicing.

Moreover, I did put the effect of oxidization of bronze by using GW Nihilakh Oxide on the Club.

These are the reference from internet. It is quite far from my imagination and my capability.
