Reverse Zenith!

So while the Stormcast have had a regular zenith prime (these boys will be in red of some form!), the Nighthaunts had the reverse, with the blacks up top, and the whites at the bottom and tail ends.

With that done the first layer was a spray of Scale 75 Undead Flesh.

Citadel Nighthaunt Gloom was applied as a wash.

Layers of S75 Hellbound Flesh were applied, and on the dark robes on the horse, and in the deeper shadows of the ethereal whisps, I used a wash/glaze of S75 Despair Green.

Highlights!

So how are we highlighting this stuff.

The ethereal greens are highlighted with S75 Hellbound Flesh, and then with Purity White.

Not much more to say other than trying to edge highlight the robes, and blending it with the blacks.

To enhance the shadows nearer the tops of the ethereal robes more S75 Despair Green. Oh and on the dark top robes, a base of Arbuckles Brown.

The bone of the horse is a base of Blackert Brown (still with S75 here) Shading with a wash of Arbuckles Brown, and then highlights with Blackert Brown and then with Hykey Yellow, and finally Purity White.

Prepping the final details.

So the metals are basecoated with P3 Pig iron. The wood is S75 Sharpnel Red.

Highlights to the face are and the black cloak is with S75 Hellbound Flesh, followed by Purity White.

Still yet to play a game, but wanted to see how both armies look together on the tabletop.
