Garrek’s Reavers with them finished that’s the starting box done and quite fast as it took just under 2 weeks to get the 3 warbands done. However Magorn’s Fiends have been on my painting desk for over a month without any progress, so I have started this project 🙂

So this is where i have got to. Once they are finished I will do a step by step post showing the advanced army painter technique that i use. It involves doing the block colour’s, quckshade colours followed by highlighting. Using this method I was able to get the 1st 3 warbands finished in just under 2 weeks.

In progress with the highlighting started.

So a week to paint my next warband. The Sepulchral Guard are finished despite the heat making it difficult to paint.

As promised here is  a basic guide to how I painted them too.

I started with undercoating them in Army painter skeleton Bone.

Then I painted all the block colours. As you can see in the background I use several different companies paints.

After that they were inked using army painters strong toneAfter that they were inked using army painters strong tone
Once that was dry. I then did basic dry bushing. using 2 lighter colours.Once that was dry. I then did basic dry bushing. using 2 lighter colours.

I find that it gives a nice finish in a short time.

Once all the warbands are finished I will redo the photo’s of each finished group. Also including a back view too.

This is the new project. That has me motivated to finish this one. This is the new project. That has me motivated to finish this one.

P.S. Up until this update I have always done them on the P.C. but for this one I have completed it on the phone to test how well it worked.
