About the Project

A journey through my 4 years in Warmachine Cygnar army painting, but other stuff too. Needless to add, an ongoing journey. I suggest reading from the oldest entry. Enjoy!

The cavalry is here late as usual. I really enjoyed painting them. By now, you have probably observed the shift in the blue colours that I have been using in the beginning of this journey. In a later entry you will see a second unit and will be able to compare them.

A personal light warjack of Haley. He get really do stuff and he can arc node spells while in combat. He is really a thorn in the ass of Cygnar opponents. I even tried to do some combat damage on this one. Something I rarely do.

Nemo’s personal warjack. He’s cute. Whit a bit of lack his gun and his spear can do a lot, however his highly unrealiable in my opinion.

Watch out for the sniper. I love how they sculpted his rifle.

A nice little gobber that you can add to your warcaster and my first base done with the use of cork.

Known as Haley2. Menace for the enemies due to her wonderful spell list and her feat which at one point before PP adjusted it was the best one in the game. Still is in my humble opinion.

Bagpipes! Well, Rhuper was my first mercenary model. He is really useful on the battlefield. Especially because he gives pathfinder allowing your troops to move through rough terrain without penalty. Lovely sculpt.

Well, these guys don’t see the table too often. Simply because they are not too good in the game. The sculpts were awful when it comes to the faces. Half of them had scars goint through the middle of the head.

My first dual kit for Warmachine. With the help of some magnets you can field the jack either as a Reliant or as a Stormclad. I got the BoW Community Spotlight for this one. 🙂

Some time ago PP showed the new nice Haley1 just to nerf her. Here is the classic sculpt. I remember I tried to use my aibrush for the first time when painting the blue armour plates.

If you were looking for a mean mechanic boss. Here he is. He is really good at repairing stuff and can empower your warjacks by giving focus. Plus the cigar in his mouth gives him some character. Look at the size of that wrench! 😉

Well, hello there. I like the miniature thou when I look at it now I know I could do a better job with painting it. Still, he can really fight in melee and we all know that painted miniatures play better.

If you can deliever them to the enemy they will really hit hard. The downside is, the delievery is not that easy. Anyway, we have a unit with the Unit Attachment and some Weapon Attachments. I believe the Cygnus on the banner was my first ever free hand.

The gobber mechanics and the boss. Aren’t they cute? They can repair what needs to be repaired under fire and it’s really hard to hit them but if you do they just *splat* 🙁

Long time ago in a galaxy far far away! You can’t play without him. +5 to Control Range and a nice reroll is a must 😀

I bought the one from the classic “easy to kill your opponent with a throw of this heavy metal miniature” line simply because it was cheaper 🙂 I regret it. Building and painting the Defender was not a pleasure. Yet, his heavy hitting long range gun is something I like. I just wish he was cheaper point wise in the game.
