I think my little studdy nook at the hot end of the house has settled at 30deg for the long haul. It mights be aftecting my decision making. Last night I put in a bit of a stretch, bringing the forgoten Conan Merc level with the rest then powering on by using speed paint to base coat a few things.

The Gravelord Grey was a no brainer for all the Conan hair and then I put down a bunch of Hardened Leather. Maybe a bit brown for some bits but feels like tonaly, it ties better with Adrian Smiths original artwork.

From this point I feel ready to focus more on individual pieces and see them through to the end, while keeping an eye on oportunistic moments to share the colour pallet with others.
