The War Betwixt the Yankees and the Americans
Finishing up the Armies.
I needed a few more bases of 6mm ACW to do Antietam for Altar of Freedom. Unfortunately Irregular Miniatures doesn't do their 6mm range anymore and it looks like it's gone for the foreseable future. I went through my collection and found some Napoleonic Russian Militia in caps which work well enough in this scale. I've got another 10ish bases of each side to go.
The first half of the new Union forces. All of these infantry are actually Irregular 6mm Russian Militia but they work just as well for Union troops.
The Commanders are a mix of ACW, Napoleonic and Franco Prussian but they all work at this scale
I was one stand short so decided to make a Brigade under fire.
USS Monitor. Not really sure when I got this but it will work if I ever need to do a battle with naval support
I painted these three or four years ago but I'm only just getting around to putting them on bases. Always good fun to have a Zouave Brigade or two lying around.
Fantastic looking army.
