I have a sizable French collection fir skirmish games already put together with a couple of perry plastic boxes. Trouble is remembering what each unit is meant to be. The French army is a confusing collection of different units. I had to look at my old paint jobs and try and figure out who they all are and if they are covered in the SandB rules.I have a sizable French collection fir skirmish games already put together with a couple of perry plastic boxes. Grenadiers. I have all the infantry covered apart from national guard militia units but it's the cavalry I need. They are just as confusing as the infantry with some of the same classifications. Because units are in squads of 12 or 8 and as low as 4 you can cover a lot of options with just a couple of plastic kits. It's worth going for the skirmish look as rank and file marching doesn't look right to me in a small scale game.Grenadiers.
