The Proxy Mammoth - Modelling Done Part 3
Hi everyone,
Today, I managed to finishing the modelling on my Proxy Mammoth. Now I will play a couple of games with it before I start painting it. Give it a test ride so to speak, and see if it change my fortunes with this game!
Below, is a quick process laid out in pictures of how I added the harness. If you have any more questions, please leave a comment and I will answer as best (and as soon) as possible.
Cut paths throught the fur with a chisel, in order to fit the belts.
Belts added from Green Stuff, and completed with Magic Sculp putty.
Extra details added and the fur re-sculpted around and over the belts.
Added as well straps made from electrical tape around the legs.Next up will be finishing the chariot regiment, then all I will have left is the six heros for this army.

Hi @gorram they are an old Napoleonic modeller’s technique. It is simple electrical tape. They come in several colours – I happened to have blue on hand. Just remove the glue with a paper kitchen towel and some odourless spirit and voila – you have horse straps for any scale!
