I was working in the lab late one night
I got my arse in to gear and painted the test model. Thank you to @nightrunner for the help and advice it was really useful
I used a base coat of grey and the used a used darker greys mixed with thinners then worked lighter and lighter using the same method.
I’ve learnt a couple of things doing it. The first and most important is that I need to wear my glasses to paint. The ability to see the model really helps. The other is looking at how to photo models. I am a semi professional photographer but I mostly do landscapes.. I need to learn how to take miniatures properly as a black and white model tends to look unpainted if I just take a quick picture of it
