Minis Storage Solution
I’ve decided I prefer the construction of and squared corners of the Really Useful Box. I decided to use steel paper instead of magnetic sheets for weight and cost. Also won’t matter which way a magnet is applied to a mini’s base it will still stick to the steel paper. I picked up some 10 Packs of various Litko Heavy Duty Base Bottoms to see if I liked them and how well they might work.
Layer of thick paper over steel fibers(?) with a strong adhesive on the back. Used for signage apparently.
Really easy to work with as you can mark it with pen or pencil and cut it with scissors
I test fit before I peal the backing as I almost always mess something up. "Measure twice, screw up both times" as they say.
Fit in place and waiting for the next test.
These Base Bottoms have a peal off side with a strong adhesive. Here are my there test models
These hold well with no movement during shaking or held vertically.
Wow, even upside down they are holding on solidly.
I used all the sample magnets and filled the box
They really do hold on well.
I love that I can see the painted minatures from above...
...or from the side. Once all the minis have magnets under their bases I will have to sort them by team.
