Inquisitorial Agents as Cult of the Possessed
When I first saw the Kill Team Inquisitorial Agents box I was struck by how many of them could immediately pass for fantasy figures. The robes scream chaos cultists and that means Cult of the Possessed for this project. I bought a box and forgot about them for a few months, until the subject of Mordheim came up in a video of a plucky young YouTuber called Because of Dragons when I mentioned my ambition in the comments. So, after a spring clean, it was time to press on with this idea.
The first model that I went for was the body that could make the Interrogator or Enlightener Agent. I preferred the look of the Interrogator agent, but that has a gun in one hand, so I simply swapped that arm out for the one for the Enlightener Agent that had a sword. It wasn’t until much, much later (during painting) that I realised that arm has much more of a wizards sleeve, while the arm holding the book looked like it could belong on a tuxedo. Never mind.
I liked the look of the candle on the shoulder, but it did make the composition of the model look unbalanced, so I decided to add something from my bits box. After trying another candle (too much) I went for a crow or raven (what am I, some sort of ornithologist)?
