Just about finished.Just about finished.

So, I was in charge of this fortnightly miniature meet, and, after finding out how many, many, MANY unfinished projects I had unfinished, I wanted to paint this time. Fortunately, there were an odd number of people, so I painted while everyone else played, with occasional wanders to take photos of games to post into the Facebook group.

On the docket was two units that were almost finished, the starter astronauts and cosmonauts from Lunar; and the second half of my Mephrit Dynasty kill team, the Immortals with the Royal Warden from the 9th edition recruit edition. Mostly this was just throwing a bunch of Army Painter Rough Iron on the weapons, and building up the orange glow. Lava Orange, Mythic Orange, Fire Lizard, and Daemonic Yellow. Took some time, but not too bad, lots of details to hit, like the symbol on the chest.

Had these guys left over and was trying to find someone to give them away to. Accidentally squeezed out some Glitter Green, so used it and a bit of Gemstone to paint them up. They might get repainted, as I found someone to take them, but, eh, less of a hurry now.Had these guys left over and was trying to find someone to give them away to. I broke off part of the cape while assembling, which is why it got trimmed, also, he’s just an Immortal Leader, not an actual Royal Warden, so some visual separation. The last bits to do are to put some binary ‘numbers’ on the bases for ease of use, and then varnish them up. Almost done!

The paint job isn't the greatest, if I'm honest, but, ancient Necrons; they are going to have flakes and cracks, right? It's THEMATIC.The paint job isn't the greatest, if I'm honest, but, ancient Necrons; they are going to have flakes and cracks, right? It's THEMATIC.
