March Crisis Protocol Releases and a couple of Starter Box models.

Every third weekend of the month, I have a Crisis Protocol game, so it inspires me to get something new painted for it.  Earlier in January I had completed the entire set of playable characters for the game, but with the early February releases and now the March releases that statement was no longer true.  Now I am caught back up again.

With both my Shatterpoint and Crisis Protocol minis, I try to paint some terrain too, or it will never get painted.  Especially Crisis Protocol where terrain is an integral part of the game.  So, this time I pulled some of the items I have not painted from the second starter set.

Finally, the ongoing saga of my experimentation with oil washing.  Talking to one of my friends he said, I should use mineral spirits and not linseed oil to thin the oil, or it will take forever to cure.  Almost two weeks later it is getting close to the point I can work on cleaning it up.  So while what I did was not a disaster….don’t use linseed oil.  Here is the current picture.
