More Shatterpoint
Fistful of Credits and We Are Brave squad packsWe start with the two squad packs, nothing really special here. I did mess around with wet blending on the Queen’s attendants. It is nice painting a full Starwars job, without a single light saber or any storm troopers.

With both my Shatterpoint and Marvel Crisis Protocol paint groups I try to paint some terrain with them. So after 40 or so years of not using oil paints, I decided to try to use some oil washes.
The bridge is done with a primer of The Army Painter Gun Metal and then a oil wash mixed with linseed oil and black paint. While the base is done with Two Thin Coats Sir Coats Silver and The Army Painter Dark Wash. Unfortunately, as of 5 days later the oil paint has not dried enough for me to complete the paint job. I went a little heavy with the oil and it is taking it a long time to dry up. I do have a couple of comparison photos below, but the bridges are not complete yet. Hopefully, I’ll be able to add them in my next update.
Finally, I decided to make this my 2024 painting blog, so to keep count.
