I have made some progress with the trenches. I added the mud, I use brown paint, coco fibre and Wall filler, mixed together. Then, I used water down PVA glue to seal the mud in place. I also had put the plane in place. I also painted and glue the gun in place.

Loving these trench boards. Looks like one of them has what appears to be a building of some sort over the top of one of the trenches. Any chance of some close ups?
With the plane, did you glue it too the polystyrene block or was that just a handle for painting it?
Excellent stuff though.
The plane was removed from the block but it was wired into place. This should help it stay put. The older trench board which connects to this one, does have a removable roof. I will get some pictures, if I get time.
