With hindsight, I should’ve given the whole thing a coat of gloss varnish before attempting this heavier weathering. That might’ve helped with streaking grime and would’ve made removing it much easier as well when it went wrong. I think I was really just too keen to get on with it as a whole. It was a pretty expensive kit yet here I was, seriously considering setting fire to it. After gathering my thoughts, I took a slightly less destructive course and sprayed the bugger grey again.
