Stormy Weather(ing)

Next up, I sanded the whole thing back a bit to smooth out the surface and set about weathering. I broke out the airbrush for this and ran straight Agrax Earthshade through it to give the panels a bit of depth. This seemed to go quite well. If I could jump in my DeLorean now I’d head back to the point I went ahead with the next step and take the AK streaking grime out of my hand.

Oh dearOh dear

I wanted to add heavier weathering around the roof line and around the window in particular to try and show this building had been around for a while. This is where the problems started. I put on far too much of the streaking grime, left it on for too long and then found the grainy surface also made it almost impossible to feather it out in any way. What an arse.
