This scenario is based on the fight for San Patricio which was held by a small texan force which was taken completely by surprise during the night. They have more of a chance in this game. Checks need to be made to spot the enemy before charging and shooting dye to darkness and the texans have reinforcements which in reality never turned up and were ambushed later.

Cazador rifleman with their Baker rifles finally hit their targets driving the texans out of the back door of the garrison and into the back alley confusion of men and horses. Despite some volleys the texans can only retreat so far before being routed by the Urreas troops.
