Gawd damn Mongoriahns destroy my shitty wallGawd damn Mongoriahns destroy my shitty wall

So I did think to do some painting of the Amazons I have and then I thought it better to build the Steppe Warriors and Mongol Cavalry from Fireforge that I ordered a couple months ago. You can actually see the Amazons in the background. See Gerry, those wonderful figures really have a splendid transport tote to hold them in before I paint them.

I actually did think to build a Mongol force but really it is just one of those things to do on a lark. I have since made amends to my conscience and wallet in thinking it best to gift this to the son of one of my fellows at the FLGS. He looks all sorts of bored when his dad comes in to play about the time my RPG wraps up for the evening. As the boy doesn’t bring in any 40K there isn’t anything for him to other than sit around and watch the Magic players and try to amuse himself just watching.

The boy’s father and I are arranging to play SAGA at some point; he’ll teach me about the Age of Crusades and I’ll clue him in on the Age of Magic. With our figures he’d just need some monsters for his knights and I’d only need to not include mine for whichever direction we went to play. On that thought I decided that my minis would best be suited to bring in a young lad into his own force and give him something to do/look forward to as his own dad played. A legacy of gaming for a young recipient of Giftmas cheer is what makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Giftmas is almost upon us.
