For the lady of the lake!

Greetings,

I started this little piece of diorama/vignette a few days ago to express my anticipation for the release of “Warhammer the old world” and the Bretons as a faction in general.

I got in touch with the tabletop hobby by painting and playing with LotR Minis from GW but soon the minis from Warhammer also caught my eye – especially the Bretons. I couldn’t afford much at that time with my pocket money but I got my hands on the 6th edition codex for Bretonia and I loved every page of it constantly reading it before and after school and I also remember reading the battlereports starring Bretonia in the White dwarf magazine.

I then took a hobby break during my years at university but when I came back I reluctantly realized that my favourite faction was gone.

Since the announcement at Wahammerfest and the first few pictures of the new bretons sparked the passion in me again.

To shorten the time a little it will take to get my hands on some models I decided to do a little diorama of a Bretonnian paladin proxy I found online.

I had a lot of fun and painting something fantasy/medieval was a welcome change to my current scifi and WW2 projects.
