Painting The Age Of Beowulf & Beyond
Some Dark Age Terrain
Thanks to a push from sundancer, I got my act together and started painting up some Dark Age Terrain to actually build a table.
I have also been working on some foam blocks which are going to be turned into outcrops of trees. These were made using foam from Hobby Craft, cut with a hot wire cutter and then plastered in texture paint.
I also did the tried and tested “cut up a doormat” technique for making some fields to use with this terrain.
The next couple of days are going to be finishing off the bases for the woods and then slotting the trees in. It should be a case of giving them a drybrush of a lighter brown followed by some flock and PVA and then poking the trees into position!
I’ll get folks a full picture of the Dark Age table next week!
