Urggghh. I hate batch painting.
So I’m not gonna do it! Each one of these dudes will be painted separately, with different paint schemes, so they stand out and look a bit interesting. Again, they will have a funky diorama base, and I’ll continue the icy blue colour in their shields and blades to add cohesion to the whole army.
I’m taking inspiration from the colour schemes of the trolls for these guys, too.

Yes they are. They were part of the Northern Alliance mega army box.
they were from vanguard and only grouped for mega armies because of the sprue design on the PVC. They’re being shelved/reduced to a unit upgrade so they can make sure that all the units are available to buy and the people who have them already can use them as the new profile
