[I know most don’t read walls of text without pictures, please skip this post. I want to record where I am at right now though as I come back to these logs every once in a while and pick up on patterns; knowing yourself better is part of the battle I think]

I had plans for the Spring Clean Challenge. The thing about depression is that it doesn’t give a hoot about your plans. Since February, I haven’t finished a single model. There are dozens that have had a volume of paint put on them. It isn’t a reflection on the hobby; it’s just one of several areas of my life that is falling prey to the black dog.

I also had grand plans to play more games but there is bugger all chance of that – the very thought of socialising instead of getting in from work, changing into comfies and watching hours of shite on tv.

Near my work a new game shop has opened up and looks like it is a good one. Their discord is active and several of the games they are talking about getting up and running sound like something I’d like to be in on.

Desperate to salvage something for the Spring Clean Challenge, and having something new painted for when I feel ready to ease my way back into gaming with strangers, I went diving through the pile of unpainted minis…

Depression is a buggeration to steal a phrase from PTerry.

Take care of yourself and hopefully it won’t be long before you feel up to it again.
In other news I spotted the church in another project ^^
