Necromunda - Nerfing my way Back into the UnderHive
EBF-25 reactor - painting
(Still holding my breathe!)
This was painted in the same way as the previous 2 pieces.
However I decided to complete the paint job to see how I wanted everything to progress to add more interest other than the current monochrome look.
I decided on a red as a spot colour (Tuscan red by DecoArt) and heavily dry brushed this on to a few select areas.
The walkways and floor was given a brown wash to add some depth to the colour scheme and then the edges were given a weathering by sponging on a combination of Rhinox Hide, Steel Legion Drab, Zandri Dust, Baneblade Brown, Tallern Sand and Chainmail.
I wanted to add “Decay” to the overall theme of what I was making and think it turned out well.
I may come back at some point and add even more to it, but for now, I think it fits right in to what Im hoping to achieve.
It was here that the model got its name….. The gun I used is a Nerf EBF-25 and durign the removal of all the guns safety warnings, I decided to leave on the gun ID as it sounded very mechanical and would just add another small touch to the story.
