This project is to bring to life the wall terrain for a game of six players using the kings of war siege rules, as this requires a lot of sections in a limited amount of time and on a budget.

When planning  this venture different approaches were considered from styrene foam through to paper crafting.

As the time of action one key factor was the reducing of the cost for the Dave Graffam papercraft wall sections on drivethroughrpg.

Walls for the big game

First step is printing the requires sections needed for each part, this involved multiple pages and splicing each section together as the file only includes 6″long prints and I was creating 12″ walls along with a gatehouse and towers.

Next step will depend on budget/time this papercraft set can be glued to artists foam board (poster board) or the budget option is to use cardboard from cereal packets..(Que Llyod cheering )

The more care taken to ensure that each part is supported for its given use is important…if you include a walkway against the wall  then it should be robust enough to support the heaviest of miniatures without becoming to over burdening for the original design.
