The original plan was to have some part of the 5th battle company without any support from the Deathwing (1st Company) or the Ravenwing (2nd Company), this is going to change somewhat. I want to kind of make it about the iconic space marine things before this Primaris heresy started, so it will be a full battle company, 6 tactical, 2 assault and 2 devastator squads plus support units like Rhino’s, a Predator and so on. And then there will be support from both the Deathwing and the Ravenwing as it will bring in terminators, Land Raiders, bikes and Land Speeders and such. Now I am going to need to get some of the Dark Angels terminators before GW refresh the range, otherwise they are just going to look out of scale with the rest. Every unit will have the proper markings that are used by the Dark Angels.

The original plan was to really look at this project as an historical project to get markings and stuff all correct. Now there is not really a good list of what equipment everyone had exactly, so I just choose what I prefer to play with and also a good variety so I don’t have similar units. I also still have 2 sheets of Forge World edged brass from back in the day and other resin bits from Forge World, Spellcrow and Wargame Exclusive for this army and planning on ordering some more. That will add plenty of customization to the army to still fit the theme I am going with and to still make it my own.

I am still busy re-thinking the entire paint scheme, but I know the basing this time is going to be more aimed at wetlands, very much like the theme for most of my gaming table scenery pieces. Specifics will follow. I am also reviewing the old paint scheme that I wrote when I originally did this project and may draw some inspiration from it. The colours are not going to be wildly different obviously as they are still Dark Angels.
