Preparing model before the paint job.

Hi folks. This is my homemade recipe for less “dancing” and more stable Lady Olynder model. I have assembled the model and realized that painting that model will be pure torture because of her poor support to the base.

So – I have made stone structures from XPS foam and glued  bottom part of a model to one of them. Remember – before You will prime the model – putt a layer of mixed paint and PVA glue onto XPS.

That extra support have made huge difference. Now model was much less shaky. Well there is still some hassle with Lady’s companions but still – huge difference.

Thx.

WOW, this is such a great but simple idea! Makes me wish i thought about it! Never bought the model because of the awful wobble effect despite being a great model, now i feel she’ll be joining my Nighthaunts army!

Great painting too 😉
