Bases
Gerry was right. I couldn't find a good source of Large Flames of War Bases. I was in my local cheap shop and saw a pack of MDF so decided to make my own.
2 Artilley/SPG's per base. This means 4 bases equals one Battery. Bases are 65mm x 50mm and cut with a Stanley knife then bevelled.
The Bevell helps make the straight edged bases look a bit more natural. Half the Grant's.
Size comparison
Most of the force. I went with six Carriers per base, this represents two Carrier patrols per base and looks a lot nicer than just three.
