Okay, metal models, so add some warm, soapy, water to the sink, grab the small set of wire brushes as start scrubbing. I personally started with the horses. Then I glued the horses down to their bases, before moving onto the  mounted Samurai. Who were scrubbed clean, and just placed on the horses. Then everyone else, was scrubbed clean, with the Ashigaru, being given some Sashimono, their spears, and being plonked on bases. Not bad for a days work.

I know you scrub resin models in warm soapy water in order to remove any residue of mould release, but I’ve never heard of a need to do that for metal figures. What is the benefit you are aiming for by doing that here? Is it a mould release issue or something else?

Looks like a very worthwhile project by the way and Perry figures are always beautiful.
